Job Summary

We are seeking a professional, friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Receptionist / Gym Receptionist to join a Wellness & Fitness Services / Health Club facility in Al Ain, UAE.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for members, guests, and prospective clients and will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional front-desk experience.

The role involves handling enquiries, calls and messages, managing appointments and bookings, assisting members, maintaining accurate records, processing basic front-desk administration, and coordinating effectively with trainers and other team members.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and customer-service skills, good computer knowledge, a professional appearance, and the ability to work confidently in a busy wellness and fitness environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome members, guests, and prospective clients professionally.
Manage the reception/front-desk area and maintain a welcoming environment.
Answer incoming telephone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and general enquiries.
Provide accurate information about available fitness/wellness services, schedules, memberships, and facilities.
Manage client appointments, bookings, cancellations, and schedule changes.
Assist with member registration and maintain accurate client information.
Coordinate bookings and schedules with instructors, trainers, and relevant team members.
Handle member and guest enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Follow up on enquiries and prospective clients as required.
Support membership-related administration and renewals where assigned.
Maintain accurate attendance, booking, and front-desk records.
Use computer systems, email, spreadsheets, and relevant booking/CRM software.
Assist with basic reports and administrative tasks.
Handle client complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
Maintain confidentiality of client and business information.
Keep the reception area clean, organised, and professionally presented.
Follow company policies, customer-service standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Receptionist, Gym Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, Customer Service Representative, or similar position preferred.
Previous experience within a gym, health club, fitness centre, Pilates studio, wellness centre, spa, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Professional telephone and WhatsApp communication etiquette.
Good computer knowledge.
Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and booking/CRM systems.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to manage appointments and schedules accurately.
Friendly, confident, energetic, and client-focused personality.
Professional appearance and grooming.
Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with complaints or busy periods.
Reliable, punctual, organised, and detail-oriented.
Filipino candidates preferred.

Salary

AED 3,500–4,000 per month
